We’re delighted to welcome Helen McCabe as our new Health & Safety Lead, bringing nearly 20 years of experience leading safety and compliance across world-class events, venues, and global sporting environments.

Helen’s track record speaks for itself, from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, WWE, and Universal Music Group to the Rugby World Cup, and the Baku European Games. But it’s her approach that makes her such a powerful addition to Emmaus Safe.

Known for her pragmatic, people-first mindset, Helen believes safety should empower, not restrict. Her philosophy “It’s not what we do, it’s why we do it” perfectly reflects our mission to make safe practice part of everyday culture, not a tick-box exercise.

Her contribution to the industry has also been recognised at national level, last year, Helen was nominated for Woman of the Year at the Safety & Health Excellence Awards, a testament to her leadership, impact, and commitment to the profession.

She’s deeply committed to the welfare and wellbeing of those working within the events industry, from crew and contractors to performers and guests, ensuring that every system we build supports both safety and people.
