Standing with Play Safe Weekend 2025

This weekend (27–28 September), The FA leads the national Play Safe Weekend campaign, shining a spotlight on the importance of safety in football.

At Emmaus, we stand alongside the FA, clubs, and volunteers across the country who are working hard to create safe environments for players, coaches, officials, and supporters.

Because safe places don’t happen by chance. They happen when people are trained, supported, and empowered to notice, care, and act.

Training isn’t a one-off exercise, it’s how clubs build confidence and culture, ensuring that every role knows what to do if something doesn’t feel right.
